The Second Fistful (2015)

The latest album by Dyniss has two unique qualities. First, each song is preceded by a “speakquel” (a spoken prequel describing what each song is about). Second, over forty people were interviewed regarding the lyrical theme of each song. Their answers were edited directly into the music. If you purchase this album, you can instantly download a zip file of high-quality mp3s embedded with the artwork, lyrics and meta tags. All songs were written, recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by Dyniss.

The First Fist (2011)

Almost all the songs for this album were written, performed, programmed, engineered, produced, and mastered by Dyniss. If you purchase this album, you can instantly download a zip file of high-quality mp3s embedded with the artwork, lyrics and meta tags. Dirt! wrote the lyrics (and performed) in the rap section for the song, “Ants.” Dana Baitz played piano on the song, “I Am Running.” Mark Boucher did the backup vocal harmonies on the song, “I Believe in Things.” All recording was done on Dyniss’ computer in the basement at his home. Special thanks to the original band members, whose arrangement ideas may have crept into the eventual songs: Mark Boucher (keyboards, percussion, vocal harmonies), Morris Coccia (drums and bass) and Alex Tikhnenko (bass). Mastered at Lacquer Channel, with thanks to Andrew Cowan for technical assistance.

Electra Brown (2000)

This was the first album recorded by Dyniss. All recording, mixing and mastering was done by Dyniss at Umbrella Sound, where he also worked as an engineer and producer at their old location. The unique sound of this record was achieved by using some older equipment like ribbon microphones and analog tape. In a way, the concept of this album was to mix everything that was new with everything that was old.
